DFL party chair and Minneapolis lawyer Brian Melendez reports that he had a wonderful time certifying electors recently with Gov. Tim Pawlenty’s general counsel, Karen Janisch, who was recently appointed to the Hennepin County District Court bench.
An amended certificate had to be issued because of a mistake over an elector’s name ,but the process went off without a hitch-with Melendez and Bert Black of the Office of (DFL) Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, facing off against Janisch. “She was delightful to work with,” Melendez said.
