Personally, I find e-filing to be most efficient and manageable way to file documents and get prompt notices. If you practice in federal court, you probably already have practice with ECF. E-filing saves time and cost for all parties and the court system.

If you practice in Hennepin County, you already know that Hennepin County accepts e-filing documents. You can register for e-filing in Hennepin County here.

What’s new — is that Ramsey County has been running an e-filing test program, that is set to expand to all civil cases on May 23, 2011.  That’s great news for attorneys and pro se litigants out there.  For more information about Ramsey County E-filing, go here.

Also, don’t forget that on the labor practice area, the National Labor Relations Board also accepts e-filing.
