Bar Buzz reports that something else everybody knew was true has been confirmed: George Soule’s chocolate chip cookies are phenomenal. Minneapolis attorney Soule’s cookies raised $2400 at auction for the Division of Indian Work Food Shelf in Minneapolis on Feb. 27. The winning bid was $800, matched by two other bidders, so Soule agreed to bake two more batches. Soule & Stull was an event sponsor, and Soule serves on the DIW Board of Directors. He is also a judge on the Tribal Court of Appeals for the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. DIW provides food, clothing and other services to American Indian individuals and families in need.
