DLA Piper has announced that Rachel K. Paulose has joined the firm’s litigation practice as a partner in the Minneapolis office.
Paulose comes to DLA Piper after an extensive career in public service. She served as the U.S. attorney for the District of Minnesota and was the first Indian American to be nominated by the president and confirmed by the Senate to serve in any federal appointment. She has also served as the senior trial counsel for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
St. Paul-based environmental attorney Paula Maccabee was honored by the Minnesota Public Health Association (MPHA) with its 2015 Harvey G. Rogers Environmental Health Leadership Award this week. Maccabee was nominated for the award by Duluth family practice doctors who have helped engage Minnesota’s medical community to raise awareness of the health impacts of sulfide mining.
