The federal court in Minnesota is hiring one full-time and one part-time magistrate judge.

Federal magistrate vacancies announced in Minnesota

The federal judicial conference has authorized the appointment of one full-time and one part-time magistrate judge in Minnesota.

The new judges will replace retiring full-time Magistrate Judge Jeanne J. Graham, who works in St. Paul, and part-time Magistrate Judge Mary Kay Klein, who is based in Bemidji. Graham’s replacement will be based in either St. Paul or Minneapolis and Klein’s replacement will be located in Bemidji.

The full-time magistrate appointment is an eight-year term and will pay $181,332 annually. The part-time position is a four-year term and pays $13,439.

A selection panel comprised of attorneys and community members will consider applications for the vacancies. Applications are available at mnd.uscourts.gov and must be received by 5 p.m. on June 16.
