Two vacant judgeships in 3rd Judicial District

Applications are being accepted for two vacant judgeships in the Third Judicial District, the Commission on Judicial Selection announced Monday.

The Commission is accepting applications to fill the slots, which will be chambered at Austin in Mower County. The open seats are the result of the planned retirements of Judge Donald E. Rysavy and Judge Fred W. Wellmann.

Applications will be accepted until March 17, and interviews will be held April 11 at the Mower County Courthouse. Applications can be submitted either by emailing Andrew Olson at andrew.c.olson@state.mn.us or by writing to Lee E. Sheehy, Chair of the Commission on Judicial Selection, 130 State Capitol, 75 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, St. Paul, MN 55155.
