St. Paul will get some federal scrutiny on communicating with the deaf (access required)

A federal court will be taking a close look at the city of St. Paul’s policies about communicating with deaf persons as a result of a ruling by the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals in a case where a deaf man claims he was denied an interpreter while in police custody.
