Minneapolis attorney Brendan Kenny’s “ah ha” moment for e-discovery came when he was working for the California Attorney General’s Office defending the state from lawsuits brought by prisoners in the corrections department. The prisoner was represented pro bono by a Top 25 law firm, Kenny said, and the firm asked for a pile of emails and documents.
