Apple win: strong story and strong IP portfolio (access required)

After three days of deliberations in Apple v. Samsung, a California jury found Samsung liable for infringing six of seven asserted Apple patents covering iPhone and iPad technologies and design, and awarded $1.049 billion in damages.
