Chief Justice Lorie Gildea was the top vote getter in her race with 49.7 percent of the vote. She will face International Falls attorney Dan Griffith who received 29.3 percent of the vote. St. Louis Park attorney Jill Clark came in third with 20.9 percent.
Justice David Stras was also the top vote getter in his race with 48.9 percent of the vote. He will face attorney Tim Tingelstad who received 29.4 percent. Alan Nelson came in third with 21.7 percent.
There was also a primary for a spot on the Hennepin County bench. Elizabeth Cutter advanced with 42.3 percent of the vote. She will face Steve Antolak who totaled 22.2 percent. Deborah Russell (17.8 percent) and Diane Krenz (17.5 percent) did not advance.
