Judge Kathryn Messerich

Judges Kathryn Messerich of Dakota County (pictured), Robert Rancourt of Anoka County, Robert Birnbaum of Olmsted County, Gail Chang Bohr of Ramsey County, Fred Karasov of Hennepin County, James Dehn of Isanti County and Renee Worke, from the Minnesota Court of Appeals participated in the 20th Annual Veterans Stand Down earlier this month at Fort Snelling.

The judges, prosecutors, defense lawyers, law students and the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office volunteered their time to help veterans work off fines, re-establish driving privileges, resolve outstanding warrants among other services.

The event is coordinated through the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans. More information can be found at www.mac-v.org.
