Minnesota Lawyer announces Unsung Legal Heroes, Up & Coming honorees

Minnesota Lawyer is proud to announce this year’s honorees for both the Up & Coming Attorneys and the Unsung Legal Heroes.

The Up & Coming Attorney recognition highlights those lawyers within their first 10 years of practice who have already distinguished themselves by their achievements. The criteria for selection are: professional accomplishment, leadership service to the community and the profession or achievement as in house counsel.

The Unsung Legal Heroes award honors the law firm employees who have consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty often behind the scenes. This award is reserved for the state’s most talented and dedicated legal support professionals.

The honorees were chosen from eight different categories: Firm Administrator, Law Librarian, Legal Marketer, Legal Secretary, IT, Accounting, Paralegal and Legal Education.

Both groups were nominated by colleagues, supervisors and their peers. This year both groups will be recognized together at a lunch event Sept. 12, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Minneapolis. Minnesota Lawyer will publish a special section at that time profiling those who were selected.
