Growing ranks of solo practitioners underscore the need for resources.

    The new JDs are not “bypassing the temptation to work at a law firm”. The sad reality is that they CANNOT FIND JOBS at law firms because our law schools are producing far, far more new JDs than the legal job market and our nation’s economy can absorb.

    One thing an organized group of solos might do is to try to reduce the cost of annual bar licensure. The high costs of annual licensure doesn’t help impoverished, heavily-indebted JDs.
