Fredrikson & Byron welcomes six new attorneys: Jeremy P. Duehr, Johanna M. Franzen, Jody L. McGinley, Amanda K. Schmall, Michael D. Schoepf and David G. Waytz.
Duehr is an associate with the firm’s Energy, Real Estate, and Environmental Law Groups. Duehr utilizes his knowledge of environmental law, land use, and real estate law to help clients develop and permit a variety of projects and properties.
Franzen is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate Group. During law school, Franzen participated in the Michigan Clinical Law Program assisting low-income clients with a variety of matters, and spent a summer at the Department of Justice in the Environment and Natural Resources Division.
McGinley is an attorney in the firm’s Oil and Gas and Real Estate Groups. Her practice focuses on oil and gas title examination, including the preparation of drilling and division order title opinions. McGinley works closely with the Bismarck, N.D. office.
Schmall is an associate in Fredrikson & Byron’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Her practice includes assisting clients with a variety of corporate transactions, including all aspects of public and private offerings of securities, as well as mergers and acquisitions and other business issues.
Schoepf is an associate in the firm’s Energy and Litigation Groups. He has experience with a variety of subjects in civil and criminal law. Prior to joining the firm, Schoepf worked as a law clerk for the honorable Thomas L. Ludington in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Schoepf works out of the Bismarck, N.D. office.
Waytz is an associate in Fredrikson & Byron’s Litigation Group. Prior to joining the firm, Waytz worked as a terrorism analyst for a Washington D.C. consulting firm.
