Where an immigrant from Burma claimed the Burmese government perceived him as a political opponent, the government’s issuance of a passport and extensions contradicted his claim, and an immigration judge found other inconsistencies in his testimony and a lack of corroborating evidence, so the judge’s adverse credibility determination is affirmed. The board also did not err in denying the immigrant’s motion to supplement the record because a new document would not have altered the credibility assessment. Petition is denied.
