David Bolt, an attorney with the Bolt & Hoffer Law Firm, has been appointed by the Minnesota Supreme Court to a four-year term on the Standing Committee for Administration of No-Fault Arbitration.

Christopher R. Jones has been named a partner of Hellmuth & Johnson, PLLC. Jones is a member of the firm’s real estate, construction and litigation groups. He obtained his law degree and his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Studies from the University of North Dakota.

Nicole Moen has received the 2010 Pro Bono Publico Award: Private Sector. The award is presented by the Hennepin County Bar Association to members for their commitment to pro bono work. Moen is a senior associate with Fredrikson & Byron, focusing in the areas health litigation, white collar and regulatory defense and business and commercial litigation.

Stephen K. Kozachok has joined Briggs and Morgan as a shareholder. Kozachok is a member of the firm’s business law section, practicing primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and venture capital financing. He received his law degree from George Washington University and his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame.

Andrew P. Moratzka was recently elected to equity membership in Mackall, Crounse & Moore, PLC. Moratzka practices in the areas of energy and regulated industries, creditors’ rights, commercial litigation, appellate law and banking and financial institutions.

Christine Cassellius has been named a shareholder with Severson, Sheldon, Dougherty & Molenda, P.A. Cassellius will continue to focus her practice in family law and criminal prosecution. Michael G. Dougherty has been re-elected president of the firm. Dougherty, along with Loren M. Solfest, Sharon K. Hills and Robert B. Bauer have been elected to the firm’s board of directors.

Christy Mennen, Kari Hainey and Laurie Huotari have been appointed shareholders in Halleland Lewis Nilan & Johnson. Mennen practices in the area of products liability and commercial litigation group. She received her law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law. Hainey is in the labor and employment group. She is a 2001 graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School. Huotari belongs to the firm’s business group. She received her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law.

Shapiro, Nordmeyer & Zielke, LLP, has been changed to Shapiro & Zielke, LLP. In addition, Randolph “Randy” Dawdy has joined the firm, and will focus his practice in the area of mortgage foreclosure law.
