ABA releases solo/small firm technology guide

The American Bar Association has released “2010 Solo and Small Firm Legal Technology Guide: Critical Decisions Made Simple.”
Written by Sharon D. Nelson, Esq. and John W. Simek, president and vice President of Sensei Enterprises, Inc., in collaboration with Michael Maschke, Sensei’s Director of Computer Forensics, the third edition of the annual guide offers the latest information and recommendations on computers, servers, networking equipment, legal software, printers, security products, smart phones and anything a single lawyer or a small law office might need.
Specific topics covered include:
A complete, unbiased overview of current legal technology products;
Step-by-step instructions for making sound technology decisions;
How to choose the right operating system and software for your office, including case-management applications, billing systems and document-management solutions;
A guide to determining what you need to go wireless;
