Where claimant developed pain in her back and sciatic nerve problems; claimant twice brought letters from her doctor to her employer requesting time off or reduced hours because of medical or back issues; the employer approved the changes to claimant’s schedule; claimant later quit due to her back issues; and the ULJ did not find persuasive claimant’s testimony that her employer knew that claimant’s work was the cause of her back problems; we conclude that the ULJ properly determined that claimant was ineligible for benefits because the serious-illness exception does not apply where claimant did not request any accommodations that were denied.
Affirmed.
